In the frame of the activities of the project “ Psychosocial Support to Crisis Affected, Displaced and Migrant Youth and Their Families in Syria- Lebanon Component”,
under the overall supervision of the Head of the IOM Mission in Lebanon, the direct supervision of the Psychosocial Program Manager in coordination with the Emergency Response and Stabilization Coordinator, the incumbent will:
Assist the psychosocial program manager in the overall management of the project, including administrative, coordination, and project implementation functions.
Assist the psychosocial program manager in liaising with national authorities and professionals, including Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Health and Academic institutions.
Maintain strong relationship and ongoing exchange of information with national institutional, professional and academic counterparts.
Provide technical guidance and assist in monitoring the activities of the psychosocial mobile teams and local NGOs supported by the program.
Assist in donor liaison and reporting.
In close coordination with the supervisor, represent IOM in MHPSS coordination meetings, Child Protection Working Group meetings and subgroups at the MoH, MoE, and others. In addition to supporting the establishment of national and international coordination mechanisms in the mental health of Psychosocial support (MHPSS) domain and representing IOM within those mechanisms.
Organize training activities and liaison with IOM international expert network, and national professionals and academics.
Prepare informal translation of documents from English into Arabic and vice-versa
Conduct field visits to monitor project activities; identify shortfalls in delivery and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

b) At least 5 years of previous experiences in psychosocial support activities in emergencies.
