Purpose
World Vision will conduct a distribution of dates through its contracted shops for eligible Registered Syrian refugees benefiting from the Food e-cards Assistance for a period of 3 months between April and June.
In addition, WV will likely conduct HHs visits upon WFP’s request. The assessments are expected to be conducted between May and August.
Key Responsibilities:
Check beneficiaries’ eligibility to receive dates.
Provide eligible beneficiaries with its ration of dates.
Collect beneficiaries’ signature and requested information upon receiving dates.
Make a physical inventory of the dates.
Conduct Household visits.
Making phone calls and taking H.H assessment visits from the Households.
Visiting between 6 and 8 Households on a daily basis (If all were reachable).
Providing the needed information/awareness for visited Households (updated service notes and other leaflets)
Reporting on the visited households during the day.
Providing feedback and calls results for the unreachable cases.
Safe Keeping WV Hotlines and tablets or other entrusted assets in good shape and returning them to supervisor upon return to office.
Conducting Focus groups discussions
Willing to work outside Bekaa area if required.
Knowledge and skills required
Good understanding and knowledge of the Bekaa area.
Fluent in Arabic, and proficient in English
Ability to act with appropriate respect to the beneficiaries’ cultures and traditions.
Ability to collect data in a detailed, accurate and transparent way.
Ability to collect data on tablets using the ODK tool.
Ability to facilitate or takes notes during a focus group discussion
Licence drive (minimum for 12 of them)
