Financial Officer

Main tasks and responsibilities: Manage and update TDH-It accounting system on daily basis. Daily cash reconciliation and monthly bank reconciliation. Ensure monthly payments to service providers, staff payroll and partner. Preparing, checking and filing of the related financial and administrative project documents: invoices, payment vouchers, bank documents, providers’ and staff contracts etc.. Support Logistics to prepare invitation to bid, request for quotation, purchase requests, purchase orders, payment requests to ensure compliance with TdH and donor procurement guidelines and project budgets. Make sure that all supporting documentation is prepared and filed according to donors’ guidelines and TDH-It procedures. Assist the Program Administrator/Project Manager in responding to audit inquiries and requests for financial information. Timely identify, inform and discuss any issues with the Program/Project Manager. To work closely and effectively with TDH-It Lebanon staff. Other duties as assigned.  Experience required University degree in economics, finance, administration, or other related field; Three years of relevant experience and technical work in the sectors of administration and finance (1 year of experience as financial officer in NGOs is required) Good knowledge of UNICEF procedures Experience and knowledge of effective financial and budgetary control and managing grants Ability to work under pressure Strong communication (fluency in Arabic and English mandatory) and organizational skills Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
