Small Grants Project Manager

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is seeking to recruit a Project Manager in order to launch a pilot project in Micro-grants and Business Development. Key Responsibilities The project manager will be responsible for the following: Building and implementing a microgrants and business development 6-month pilot project for Lebanese and Syrian women. Analyzing and investigating financial products, grant processes, set of procedures, forms, and manuals for the successful implementation of the program. Developing, improving and adapting the program to the needs of beneficiaries and the conditions in the market. Designing and implementing the management system as well as the monitoring and evaluation system of the pilot project, in collaboration with senior management and the guidelines set forth in the grant. Establishing a business development scheme and a training curriculum for an entrepreneurship training program. Revision and consolidation of financial projections according to future extension of the project. Negotiations with partners and public authorities. Recruitment and management of staff and outreach team members. Directing and organizing the training and capacity building of staff, partners, and beneficiaries.   Skills Required: 3 to 5 years of experience in project management/ new business development in a private or non-profit, entrepreneurship and/ or microfinance. University degree in business management with thorough understanding of entrepreneurship, business development  and an interest for economics and social science. Computer skills: Microsoft office suite. Languages: English (Essential), Arabic (Essential). Superior problem solving skills. Proven leadership skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
