Accountability (key results that will be achieved)
- A strategic annual plan with defined activities is set between PSFR and Lebanon team to ensure a strong practical collaboration throughout the year on different themes.
- A network of key stakeholders and partners is identified and actively engaged to support campaign opportunities initiated by the MENA Digital Hub and the External Relations.
- A set of engagement activities for Lebanon staff initiated to raise awareness on the different joint campaigns and activities between the MENA Digital Hub and the External Relations.
Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results)
Under the overall supervision of the PSFR Digital Officer and the Communications/ER Officer, the PSFR Associate will be responsible to:
PLANNING:
- Assist in developing a strategic annual digital fundraising plan for Lebanon, in coordination with PSFR digital Hub and the Lebanon operation.
CAMPAIGNS:
- Contribute to design digital fundraising campaigns to achieve the objectives of the Lebanon digital fundraising plan.
- Assist in identifying campaign communication key opportunities for web target audiences. Seek to build linkages between digital and offline opportunities for action.
- Coordinate the organization, implementation and reporting of fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance against agreed campaign activities.
- Devise, prepare and produce campaign activity reports and content.
- Deliver campaign activity presentations and regular results presentations.
- Work closely with the campaign project team and specifically the PSFR digital team on the development of campaign concepts and materials.
DONOR RELATIONS:
- Assist in organizing field missions for private sector donors and PSFR external stakeholders.
- Assist the ER team in building relationship with potential private sector donors from the MENA region, and coordinate with relevant units/roles to provide information on activities and respond to queries.
CONTENT:
- Ensure flow of content and accuracy of external information for both media and digital consumption from the different internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the production of multimedia content (copywriting, photo, video) and social media content for fundraising purposes.
MEDIA:
- Contribute to build a network of external stakeholders focused on fundraising (including influencers, celebrities, local and regional media), and coordinate with relevant units/roles to respond to requests and provide proper packages for them.
- Work closely with the Lebanon BO teams, specifically ER and PI colleagues on the development and implementation of the media and outreach plans linked to fundraising campaigns.
- Assists in organizing online/offline media opportunities focused on fundraising for PI/influencers in conjunction with special events and/or on adhoc basis.
COORDINATION:
- Be the advocate for public engagement campaigns internally within UNHCR as well as externally.
- Ensure coordination with internal stakeholders and maintenance of regular and systemized communication within the campaign project team and the wider organization.

2.4 ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position.
- Completion of Secondary education with certificate/training in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Communication or other related fields
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work
- Good knowledge of humanitarian assistance and UN environment.
- Knowledge of regional media and digital environment.
- Strong project management skills including planning and schedule creation.

- Knowledge of the UN system preferably with UNHCR or another UN Agency.
- Experience in multi-media production is an asset
- Relevant professional network established with key players in the regional media
- Understanding of audience analysis techniques and how to apply them.
