Information Manager (Im) Expert

Roles and responsibilities Provide IM services to GVC staff including development of tools for data collection, collation, analysis, dissemination and activities monitoring and map production. Develop databases for each specific activity of GVC projects, including assessments, surveys, monitoring, reporting Entering data coming from the staff working in the field. Training of GVC staff on the use of databases and support data entry and analysis. Update ‘Activity Info’ and ‘Rais’ together with the Project Manager and the Local Coordinator. Analyze projects data, identify and address IMS gaps, and facilitate information sharing between GVC Staff and other NGOs or international agencies. Identifying new information and data requirements to support operations and support GVC offices in gathering and sharing this information and data. Developing reporting tools in coordination with Project Managers; Ensuring that data respect confidentiality and is compliant with GVC accountability principles Support the development of an efficient mechanism of information sharing among the team about security issues in coordination with the Logistician; Support for developing proper communication tools for GVC activities; Support the Logistician for maintenance of all GVC informatics assets N.B: Driving license is a must.
