Education Specialist

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Officer. The incumbent will perform the following duties: • Work mainly with Lebanese and Syrian youth enrolled in lower secondary • Provide workshops on effective learning strategies to students • Provide individual or small group support to at-risk students • Provide sensitization workshops to teachers and parents Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of related experience • University degree in special education • Dynamic leader with creative problem solving skills, particularly in challenging situations • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills • Experience working with Syrian refugees would be an asset
