Senior Itc Assistant

Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission and direct supervision of Resource Management Officer and direct technical guidance of the Regional ITC Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting on the maintenance, support and implementation of the ITC Infrastructure for IOM Lebanon Office. Provide onsite end-user support for IOM staff and remote support for sub office Support in the overall maintenance of present and upcoming ITC equipment, as well as Local Area Networks (LAN). Support in the administration of servers providing ITC services (Internet, file sharing, email and others) and configuration of such services in desktops and laptops. Install, configure and upgrade hardware and software for desktops and laptops (Windows, MS Office, Antivirus and in house produced software) and other network components. Support virus detection, Malware/Spyware, removal and prevention for all systems. This will involve downloading the latest Anti-Virus signatures for Data Protection. Maintain a tracking system for the respective ITC Equipment Inventory. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and data clerks of the Databases Systems Implemented in IOM Beirut and its field missions in Lebanon. Provide, as frequently as needed, updates of the databases systems as well of creation of backups of the Databases Systems, file storages. When required, provide IT and Communication training to all end users to ensure productive use of existing and new systems. Assist in the planning, configuring, installing and troubleshooting network infrastructure including routers, wan optimizers, firewalls, gateways, access points, vlans … Maintain bimonthly tape backup Maintain the IT Asset Management System ensuring that all assets are recorded and updated/removed when required Support domain Users and computer management, DHCP and group policy Suport user attendance management including staff registration, logs reporting, new installations Support access control management; cards registration, deletion and logs reporting Install new/maintain existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Perform backups and recovery operations Assist in PBX management, extensions assignments, group calling creations Oversee IT staff including training, technical evaluation, leading the troubleshooting … Work at emergency level, network and infrastructure installations, user support Any other duties as may be assigned
