D-RASATI 2 - Short-term consultancy   Data Analyst/Data entry Assistant for Evaluation Study of Training in Psychosocial Support   Project Description: Developing Rehabilitation Assistance to Schools and Teacher Improvement-II (D-RASATI 2) is a project that aims to enhance student achievement in Lebanese public schools by training English teachers, developing extra-curricular activities, providing schools with ICT equipment and training, developing school leadership and  building the capacity and tools necessary to support school improvement planning.  D-RASATI 2 is a 2-years project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Position Description: The Evaluation Assistant will assist the Evaluation Study Consultant in conducting the evaluation of a multi-phase training program to increase the capacity of Lebanese teachers to provide psychosocial support to students within their classrooms. The program will involve training a minimum of 70 trainers/counselors from the public sector who will then train a further 700 teachers in the provision of psychosocial support. This will be a part-time position and hours will vary according to the phase of the evaluation between the months of January and June 2016. The assistant will carry out the following tasks in close partnership with the Evaluation Study Consultant: Enter and clean data collected for the baseline and end line studies conducted Assist with  coding and analysis of data collected Assist with the compilation of reports following data collection Assist with the coordination of the implementation of the baseline and end line studies Assist with any other tasks that arise in relation to the collection, entry and analysis of data as determined by the Evaluation Study Consultant Position requirements: University degree in social sciences (psychology, sociology etc.) Excellent knowledge and experience of using SPSS software Experience in the collection, entry and analysis of data during field research related to the social sciences Fluency in English and Arabic Preferably with experience working with refugee populations in emergency settings Experience evaluating psychosocial support programs is advisable Experience in the field of education, training and development is desired A high degree of flexibility and willingness to adapt evolving project timelines and requirements Consultancy duration From February 2016 – June 2016 How to Apply If interested in applying to this position please email CV and cover letter (in English) with the title in the subject line explaining how you are qualified to perform the tasks outlined in these terms of reference.
