Finance Intern at Search for Common Ground Lebanon. Search for Common Ground (SFCG) is a non-governmental organization working to transform the way societies deal with conflicts. We have acquired over 30 years of experience in peacebuilding and are based in 53 local offices worldwide. SFCG first worked in Lebanon in 1996, and we opened up our office here in 2008. The issues we address are multiple, such as conflicts arising within Lebanon's diverse society, tensions resulting from the increasing influx of Syrian refugees, security sector reform, as well as women’s socio-economic empowerment. In each project we seek to engage all stakeholders and strengthen local capacities in order to create sustainable change and increase social cohesion.                                                              Summary of Position The successful candidate will work closely with the Logistics and Procurement Officer and will assist him with his duties. Specific responsibilities are as follows: Procurement:   Run errands as requested by the Logistics Officer Collect invoices and materials outside the office when needed. Assist the Log and Procurement Officer with the receipt and processing of purchase requests. Assist the Log and Procurement Officer in maintaining a database of preferred vendors Assist the Log and Procurement Officer with the production and follow up of documentation related to procurement ( Bid analysis form, proper invoices…) Administrative formalities, reception of merchandise, checking merchandise, transportation and allocation of merchandise.   Stock management: Assist the Log and Procurement Officer with the maintenance of an updated list of inventory at all time Assist the Log and Procurement Officer to track materials In and Outs     Requirements and Qualifications Highly organized; Attention to Detail; Dependability - reliable, responsible and dependable and fulfilling obligations. Analytical Thinking - analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems. Leadership - Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction. Fluent English; Proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage
