Case Management Coaching Officer

Job Overview/Summary:Under the supervision of the Capacity Building Manager, the Case Management Coaching  officer will be supporting and coaching case workers/social workers and their supervisors from governmental and non-governmental GBV actors in various locations in Lebanon. The Case Management Officer also provides technical support to supervisors of case workers/ social workers that work with governmental and non-governmental partners: Facilitating bi-weekly coaching session; Developing and conducting workshops related to case management and supervision of case managers; Organizing coaching and mentoring sessions for case workers/social workers as well as supervisors of GBV actors; Contribute to development of case management materials, training manuals, tools, and other resources as needed RESPONSIBILITIES Material consolidation and development Review and continuously update the case management training guide after CM trainings and participants’ feedback. Develop new training materials upon the needs identified in the field Develop materials for peer coaching in coordination with the Capacity Building Manager Develop manuals and fact sheets that are relevant to participants and will complement the trainings, sessions and workshops Assist in the development of the yearly Capacity Building and Partnership strategy for WPE/IRC Coaching and capacity building for supervisor Develop a training for case manager/social worker supervisors that responds to the needs identified in the field Prepare and facilitate three peer to peer groups at each governorate level to provide ongoing technical and emotional support to case workers/social workers supervisors of governmental and non-governmental partners Coaching and capacity building for case worker/social workers and facilitate GBV case management trainings for case workers/social workers working in governmental and non-governmental GBV actors, Prepare and facilitate monthly peer to peer support groups for case workers/social workers at the governorate level to provide technical and emotional support Prepare and conduct a workshop for case workers in each governorate based on the needs identified and to build case worker/social workers skills to deal with more complex situations Partnership Prepare and implement peer coaching sessions for case workers/social workers from partner organizations when needed Closely coach and mentor the supervisor of case workers/social workers of partner organizations Reporting and Coordination Develop monitoring and evaluation tools for the case management coaching and update them regularly Submit trainings and peer to peer learning sessions reports  to WPE capacity building and partnership manager after each activity Attend and actively participate in the capacity building monthly meeting Work closely and coordinate with the  Capacity building Manager Other Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs All IRC staff is required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies. QUALIFICATIONS Required Counseling and training experience with NGO/INGO organization, including for at least 2 years of experience in Case management for survivors of GBV. Clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues of violence against women and girls. Experience in training and coaching Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail. Ability to work as a member of a team essential. Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Fluency in Arabic and English Degree/diploma in Social Work, Counseling, Women’s Studies or other related field Preferred INGO experience Experience in training and/or building capacity of other team members through coaching and mentoring Ability to communicate in English and write clear and concise reports in English strongly preferred Personal qualities Works well with a team and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well
