The Project Manager will be reporting directly to the director and will be expected to manage the following tasks:
Project management related tasks
To design and implement the work plan.
To guarantee the implementation of the day-to-day project operations.
To work jointly with the project partners in order to make sure that the overall project meets its objectives.
To monitor the budget, until the end of the project.
To attend the majority of project activities.
Documentation and Reporting
To produce monthly narrative and financial reports (in English) as required.
To ensure the project evidence of activities and outputs are well documented.
Management of relations with partners and donors
To liaise closely with the other Project Managers of the project partner organizations
To ensure good relationships with the donor by attending periodic meetings and maintaining good communication.
Representation
To represent the project vis-a-vis the communities.
To build good rapports with key community members.
Team management
To support and to work witht he project team at Peace Labs
To manage the relations between the staff
To address conflicts or tensions that might arise amongst staff.
Security
To assist in monitoring the security situation in the project area, and to inform the Director and the other partners of any potential risks and recommend appropriate action.
Fundraising
To support the Director in any fundraising efforts aiming at securing current and future support to the project
