A case worker shall be able to conduct all steps of case management process addressing an individual child’s (and their family’s) needs through direct support and referrals and in accordance with project objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
Technical:
Identify individual cases in collaboration with CP north Bekaa team and through regular presence in the community
Accept referrals from other agencies and community partners
Provide individual case management for children and their families in accordance with all case management standard operating procedure
Ensure the correct documentation and compilation of CM forms in accordance with all case management standard operating procedure
Update regularly the database to ensure a comprehensive record of the database
Ensure that all cases are addressed immediately and shared with the supervisor
Work closely with the other organization in order to ensure smooth referral
Participate actively in weekly case management team meetings
Provide ongoing support to families, foster and alternative care systems
Communicate regularly with supervisor, CM Project Manager and CM Specialist for updates on achievements and challenges
Other
Collaborate closely with the other members of the CM team and the CP team
Directly communicate with other caseworkers and service providers as part of conducting individual case management
Regularly attend case management meetings at field level
Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to management and liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for programs
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct

Indirect Reporting: CM Project Manager and Case Management Specialist Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: other members of the Case Management team and members from other TDH IT programs in the field
External: local partner –Other NGOs/INGOs
Job Requirements:
Education: Degree in social and behavioral science, preferable social work or any other related field
Work Experience:
1 year work experience in child protection programs in development or emergency, preferable social work or case management
Experience in working in a cross cultural environment preferable
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure, enjoy field work
Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children
Good communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Others:
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus
Microsoft Office: Word and Excel is a must
Valid Lebanese driving license
A availability of a car is an asset
Working Environment: 70% field work
