Trade Instructor – General Welding

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES   In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:   (A)        Organizing, developing and implementing the subject of specialization.   (B)        Developing the competencies and skills of trainees in workshop practice and safety precautions through:   Train the trainees on basic mechanical works Train the trainees on different types of welding including oxy-acetylene, electrical arc, MIG & TIG. Fabrication and assembly of steel gates, windows, doors, pipe fabrication, and welding, …etc.   (C)        Preparing schemes of work   (D)        Preparing bills of quantities and specifications for the needed materials and tools   (E)        Coordinating the specialized subject with other subjects such as English and Entrepreneurship.   (F)        Maintaining discipline and keeping inventory records of different supplies. (G)        Other duties as may be required.
