Lebanon Water Project - Driver

   Lebanon Water Project (LWP)   Call for Resumes   Driver, long term position   Background:   DAI seeks Driver candidates for USAID-funded “Lebanon Water Project (LWP).” This five year project will work to increase reliable and sustainable access to potable water for Lebanese citizens; improve water management practices and enhance the efficiency and sustainability of public water utilities, while raising awareness on sustainable water use practices and promote better water governance governance to help assure long-term protection of Lebanon’s water resources. General Objective:   The Driver is a key member of the operations team that will transport LWP staff to the various water establishments in the country as well as around the city of Beirut for meetings, conferences, etc.   Responsibilities: Responsible for transporting staff to and from various locations throughout Lebanon. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary. Fueling the vehicles. Ensure the periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed. Maintain vehicle logs, documenting vehicles movements, and destinations. Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary. Assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle and assist in lifting luggage and devices as needed. Keeps the assigned vehicle clean inside and outside. Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.   Qualifications:   2 years of work experience in driving and logistics, preferably on a USAID project.
