The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering (RDFL) and by the support of UNFPA, will be implementing a project for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign supporting women in Lebanon.
Within the project, RDFL seeks an experienced consultant to produce a short documentary including testimonials and messages from Syrian as well as Lebanese women and girls at risk of GBV and survivors who have overcome the cycle of violence. The documentary should be completed by the end of November 2015.
Under the direct supervision of RDFL, the consultant will:
1. Develop the documentary film’s overall concept and scenario.
2. Interview selected interviewees for the film.
3. Develop the documentary script and storyboard to be used in the film.
4. Present a draft documentary to RDFL for comments about contents.
5. Provide an approved storyboard in soft copy (or hard copy by agreement), and an approved script and interview questions in a word file;
6. Provide a draft cut of the documentary, providing access to the raw documentary if required
7. Present final documentary in Arabic divided into chapters that can be used separately on social media.
8. Produce a design for the DVD cover and film poster.
9. The documentary will be copyrighted to RDFL, and any violation of copyright law will be pursued appropriately.

- Significant years of experience working in similar field (minimum five). - Extensive experience in producing development work related documentaries for international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences. - Excellent technical capacities (state of art filming equipment preferably High Definition) to ensure smooth and high quality production. - Additional experience in development communication will be an added advantage.
