Nurse(For 2 Months Only)

Restart Center for Victims of Violence and Torture is looking for a Nurse to work within the UNHCR-funded Program on Mental health services to refugees and asylum seekers in Lebanon. The position holder will be required to work full time in Restart Center Beirut. Main Tasks: To provide patients with psychotropic medications; To assist patients in better understanding the drug treatment protocol based on the psychiatric /neurologist written prescription; To mantain a database of patients in order to keep individual record or register for the treatment protocol related  to  each patient in order to manage , monitor and report and follow-up on the case; To do case management for monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the individual cases; To conduct specific orientation sessions for parents in relation to the TP of the child, as children treatment protocol is under the full responsibility of the parents; To provide education sessions to the patients on the appropriate and safe use of the psychotropic medications; To follow-up on patients who fail to continue their treatment; To conduct check-ups of patients including primary first aid to some patients such as measuring pressure and diabetes; To assess the needed equipment for the health sector; To refer patients for laboratory tests and follow-up on results; To coordinate with the social workers and the specialists;
