Nurse - Night Shift

Basic Function: purpose and scope The Nurse will provide medical assistance and counseling in response to the needs of detainees with major and minor health problems. The Nurse will perform a variety of tasks and duties intending to find the best solution for beneficiaries and to make the project and activities successful as well as improve health conditions.   Duties performed: Refer patients to the General Security medical doctor. Assist the doctor during consultations in order to do the necessary follow-up with the patients. Ensure daily tours (3 times per day) inside the cells in order to provide medications to detainees. Provide first aid when needed Conduct health educational sessions Follow up on pregnant women and refer them to the social team to do the necessary follow-up Handle the pharmacy and monitor medications Fill medical records/files for patients in care Arrange the truck for drug distribution Take appointment for external consultations in collaboration with General Security doctor Coordinate when necessary between General Security and hospitals for the transfer of patients.
