MEDECINS DU MONDE FRANCE seeks     M&E Officer   For more than 30 years, Médecins du Monde, a campaigning medical organization committed to international solidarity, has been caring for the most vulnerable populations at home and abroad. It has continued to highlight obstacles that exist in accessing health care and has secured sustainable improvements in health-for-all policies. Those working for this independent organisation do not solely dispense care and treatment but condemn violations of human dignity and rights and fight to improve matters for populations living in precarious situations. MdM currently works in 46 countries across all continents where it focuses on 4 priority areas: caring for the health of migrants and displaced persons, promoting sexual and reproductive health, combating HIV and reducing the harm and risks associated with drug use, crises and conflicts.     OBJECTIVE AND RESPONSABILITIES :   Main objective:         Working under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the M&E officer will conduct and implement MdM monitoring and evaluation tools.                                 The M&E officer will be responsible for collecting timely and accurate data inside MdM partners’ centres (composed of 5 PHCC and one MMU) in order to monitor and evaluate the services provided to Syrians refugees and host communities.   Main activities:                                             Ensure data collection using MdM monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools by performing regular field visits to the primary health care centres (PHCCs) and the mobile medical unit (MMU). Guarantee timely and accurate information. Produce written reports on a weekly basis: field visit reports, weekly facilities check list. Participate in the formulation of data collection forms and monitoring templates, exit and satisfaction surveys, focus group discussions with beneficiaries of services. Participate in the analysis of data collected. Participate in regular meetings with the rest of the team to provide updates on data gathering progress, and to receive guidance and instructions from direct line manager; Report number of referrals made from PHCCs to secondary health care centres (SHCCs) on a regular basis.   1.     Monitoring and evaluation: data collection Ensure data collection using MdM monitoring and evaluation tools by performing regular field visits in the PHCCs and the MMU in Central, West, North Bekaa and South Beirut.   Guarantee timely and accurate information.   2.     Reporting and data analysis Give inputs in designing tools used to collect data from the PHCCs and the MMU (questionnaires, checklist, individual interviews but also beneficiaries’ satisfaction surveys and exit surveys) in coordination with the Program Coordinator. Produce written weekly and monthly reports (field visits reports, weekly facilities check lists), and submit them to the Program Coordinator. Assist in generating summaries for analysis when required (graphs, tables, reports) from the database. With the supervision of the Program Coordinator, record activities and data and archive them in appropriate forms.   3.     Coordination Participate in regular meetings with the program team to provide updates on data gathering progress. Participate in regular meetings with the partners’ PHCCs and MMU.   4.     Capacity building of MdM partners The job might require some coaching and support to partners’ staff in the PHCCs, possible health awareness sessions or training.         Main responsibilities and activities of the M&E officer can change according to the organization of the work and to the composition of the team.     CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Starting: ASAP Contract: Employment Contract Duration: End January (Renewable) Full time: 8 am till 5 pm / MONDAY-FRIDAY KINDLY MENTION IN THE SUBJECT THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.
