Job Announcement - Enumerator (Survey Interviewer)   Employer: Norwegian People’s Aid Deadline for applications: Friday, September 25, 2015 Contract: Full time position Location: Ein El Hilwe Camp Working area: South Lebanon   Main Responsibilities: Locate and visit households as per a defined sampling plan. Conduct daily surveys based on specific questionnaire. Ask questions in accordance with instructions to obtain various specified information. Explain survey objectives and procedures to respondents and interpret survey questions to help respondents’ comprehension. Review data obtained from interview for completeness and accuracy. Compile and record data from surveys using tablets. Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data. Coordinate movements with the direct supervisor and report on daily activities. Undertake basic security assessments prior to visiting a given area. Attend training workshops and coordination meetings as required.    Requirements: Holder of a university degree Previous working experience in non-governmental organizations and/or surveys is preferable. Candidate must be resident of Ein El Hilwe Camp with strong local knowledge of the area Good command of English and Arabic. Good computer skills. Good communication, cultural understanding, and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
