Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability And Learning (Meal) Officer

  Under the supervision and guidance of the Head of Programs and supported by MENTOR Program Manager, the MEAL Officer will be responsible for implementation and monitoring and evaluation of USG-funded MENTOR grant and providing MEAL assistance to projects implemented through CRS local partners in Lebanon.  The MEAL Officer will spend 50% of his/her time on the MENTOR capacity strengthening project, and 50% of his/her time providing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) support to all other CRS funded projects. Specific Requirements: * Minimum of five years of work experience in development and/or emergency programs * Professional experience in monitoring and evaluation methods * Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, organization and mediation among local actors * Strong cross-cultural skills and experience working with people from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds * Demonstrated capacities to establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with donors, government officials, local organizations, communities and other stakeholders *Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Must be able to work independently and represent CRS * Proficiency in computer applications(MS Word, Excel) * Willingness to travel
