Transportation Manager

Objective + Tasks : Management of SPOC teams and drivers in all centers: Direct all transport activities. Plan the driver routes and the delivery calendar. Book sub-contractors and ensure that they deliver on time and upon the agreed terms and conditions. Follow-up on the fleet of vehicles. Deal with the effects of congestion. Good management of the vehicles and the equipment: Supervise the proper use of vehicles. Ensure correct security measures are taken within the vehicles. Ensure vehicle maintenance is made on a regular basis and as needed.  Ensure Quality Service Standards are met : Ensure deliveries are made to clients. Assure a service of quality. Communicate well with beneficiaries and fulfill their requirements. Negotiate transport prices.  Monitor and Implement the proper Administration of the Unit: Assign and record all the resources and the movements on the transportation planning system. Control transportation costs. Follow up on official documents.
