Grants Manager

Essential Job Functions: Drafts grants manual and related program documents; Prepares grant documents and documents implementation; Maintains communication with recipients to ensure smooth administration of sub instruments; Reviews recipient reports and documentation for compliance with agreement/sub-agreement terms and conditions; Maintains Grants General Database; Supervises Grants Specialists as required; Liaisons with technical teams as required; and Other duties as assigned.   Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Political Science, Law or related field with 3+ years of experience in USAID grants and financial assistance award administration with one or more major contractors and/or NGOs. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Substantial knowledge of ADS 303 OBM 122, 133, 22CFR 26 and 22CFR228. Fluency in Arabic and English.   Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience working in conflict or post conflict environments. Success Factors: Ability to deal with ambiguity and change. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate and lead team members. Excellent interpersonal skill, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.   Travel Requirements: Up to 20%   Physical Requirements: Normal Office Conditions.
