PRESENTATION OF HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL Handicap International is an independent and impartial international aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. For more details on the association: http://www.handicap-international.org  Handicap International is composed of 3 operational divisions: Emergency Response Division (ERD) Mines Division Development Division  MISSION CONTEXT  The Emergency Response Division in Lebanon was created in April 2012.  The provision of support to health structure is provided directly by Handicap International physiotherapist and technical advisor. The identification, assessment of the needs, referral and direct provision of services is done trough outreach teams (composed of one social worker as case manager and one physiotherapist supported by psychologists and/or psychosocial workers) and trough fixed points in the communities (in community centers to allow more efficiency reducing the time to reach the beneficiaries). GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION  Under the line management of Logistics Manager, the Logistics Assistant is responsible for Provide logistics support Updating the Equipment Follow up and PSR monitoring Chart IT Management and Solutions  ACCOUNTABILITIES  Line manager: Logistics Manager Line manager+1: Field Coordinator In direct cooperation with: Supply Assistant and Facilites Assistant  RESPONSIBILITIES Objective 1: Logistic tasks Activities/Main duties: Provide logistics support and advices to Program staff to ensure a smooth program implementation. Propose whenever you think it is needed to your Line-Manager relevant adaptation to improve the processes (purchases, stock management, Equipment).  Objective 2: Purchase management, under supervision of the Line manager. Activities/Main duties:       Audit the Purchase file and ensure that HI purchase procedures are applicable. Ensure that all the needed information is identified on the quotations, Purchase order and Reception note. Ensure the collected documents are compliant with HI procedures: supplier stamp, signature... Ensure the purchase follow up tool (PSR Monitoring Chart) is updated in daily basis. Scan all the purchase documents and save it in the proper location. Ensure the purchase file Archives is done at the end of each phase, if requested.  Objective 3:  IT Management. Activities/Main duties: Provide the IT solutions for all HI staff (connections, printing problem, software, etc…) in coordination with your line manager. Ensure the implication of the IT restrictions for HI staff (such as the internet connection and the PC and mobiles internet access rights, using standard software etc…). Ensure the data backup is done for the departments in regular basis. Propose whenever you think it is needed to your Line-Manager relevant adaptation to improve the IT Management.  Objective 4: Equipment management. Activities/Main duties: Ensure the respect of HI equipment management procedures. Make sure the follow up of the equipment is updated and completely filled (TSE). Ensure the Equipment file is well organized and complete. Make sure all the equipment have an identification code. Ensure a regular maintenance / Check-up for all equipment in your base. Ensure the physical inventory is done of all equipment of your base in monthly basis. Ensure the physical inventory is done for all the furniture and small equipment of your base in monthly basis.  Objective 5: Reporting Activities/Main duties: Report immediately, in case of incident in and around our working area to the line Manager. Provide in monthly basis, an updated PSR Monitoring Chart to your Line Manager. Provide in monthly basis, an updated TSE to your Line Manager. Provide in monthly basis, an updated Furniture inventory to your Line Manager. Report immediately, in case of any equipment loss or destroyed to your Line Manager. Report immediately, in case of any inappropriate use of the equipment of your base to your line manager. Objective 6: Security Activities/Main duties: Report any incident inside or outside the base to your line manager Inform your superiors of any information that may affect travel and security in our working Area.
