Public Speaking Trainer (Consultancy)

Terms of Reference   Public Speaking Trainer       THE PURPOSE OF THE Trainer:   World Vision Lebanon (WVL) is implementing local level advocacy initiatives with local citizens. The community members, including children and youth, lead initiatives to improve services of health, education and child protection. WVL is looking for a short term professional public speaking trainer. The trainer’s main role will be to train WVL youth and children committees to better communicate their messages with their peers, families and service providers as part of their local level advocacy action plans.   REQUIRED TASKS:   Overall The Consultant will prepare and deliver the training (including material) to the committee members.   Specific Required Tasks -       Prepare materials for one day training for children in Bekaa. -       Prepare materials for 2 days training for youth in Marjeyoun. -       Submit a copy of the presentation/training materials -       Deliver the training in Arabic language.     CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   The Consultant should have the following competencies and experiences:   -          Background in communication skills or public speaking -          Familiar with civil society and NGO engagement.  -          Previous experience working with youth and children   DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY:     The consultant will provide 1 day training in Bekaa and 2 days training in Marjeyoun during the 1st week of September.
