Backup Medical Doctor - Bekaa Valley

-Scope of responsibility: Ensure and organise medical activities for patients and/or a population attending the primary health care in the MSF clinic in Arsal in accordance to MSF protocols and to universal hygiene standards taking into consideration quality and continuity of care. Perform consultations in the outpatient department in accordance to MSF protocols and guidelines Ensure supervision and training of the team, if needed.   -Function responsibilities include: Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnosis and prevention. Pharmacy and medical equipment management. If necessary, prescribe relevant treatment according to MSF guidelines and protocols. Ensure a medical follow-up of quality and, if necessary (and possible), refer to other health facilities. Apply hygiene standards in all medical activities. Monitor the clinic pharmacy: availability of the relevant drugs and medical material. As focal point of the clinic, share and forward information between the medical team and the Head of Medical Activities in Baalbeck, in term of medical or security issues, as well as training needs and team management. Collect data about morbidities and references, and submit them on daily/weekly/monthly or any other basis when requested. Monitor the medical activities, analyse them in the context, with a public health approach and make propositions of possible evolution if necessary.   -Place of work: MSF clinics, Majdal Anjar, Baalbeck and Hermel.
