We are looking for a highly qualified candidate that has the skills to engage in our organization as a Communications Advisor.
Who are we?The Lebanon Humanitarian INGO Forum (LHIF) is an independent coordinating body of international NGOs operating in Lebanon. LHIF facilitates INGO representation in response leadership and planning mechanisms, and supports members to identify strategic issues, more effectively engage with external stakeholders, and address common obstacles that negatively impact humanitarian operational space. LHIF was founded in October 2012, established a full-time Secretariat in October 2013, and currently has 31 members who are working in all sectors, with all affected population groups, and in all regions of Lebanon. Initially formed in response to the impact of the Syria Crisis on Lebanon, since 2013, LHIF has been working to support a more holistic response to the crisis in Lebanon and to help achieve a protective environment that better identifies and responds to the full spectrum of needs and the rights of the most vulnerable persons affected by the crisis. LHIF is administratively hosted by the Danish Refugee Council and funded by ECHO.
