We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who can fit the position of a Business entrepreneurship development junior manager.
Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk
Duties• Provide strategic guidance and support to business entrepreneurs and support in providing appropriate trainings and information activities• Support in implementing business development activities in coordination with different stakeholders.• Support entrepreneurs in developing a media communication activities and marketing plan. to explore the use of social media as a marketing communication tool• Promote and assist the development of a new network of key stakeholders to explore operational links with local businesses and networks• Liaise with entrepreneurs on a daily basis and assist them in implementing their business plan• Assist the business incubator in developing business development strategies and market analysis• Monitor and supervise the progress of the project and report back to the line manager on any unmet gaps or needs• Monitor and attend the delivery of trainings and ensure tools and output are put into action during the implementation• Ensure the HAP is respected during the implementation of the project
About youTo be successful in this role you must have:• Bachelor in business management, economics or related fields• 2 to 3 years of experience in implementing business development projects in the private sector• Strong skills in strategic planning and market feasibility study• Previous experience and knowledge in SME field• Proficiency in social media marketing and Microsoft office • Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
Ideally you will also have:• Previous experience in entrepreneurship field, self starter• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationship with key stakeholders
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 5 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from August 2015 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level D, equivalent to 2015 USD per month.
