Field Officer

Project background: LRC under the Emergency Response Fund (ERF) will implement urgent WASH project to tackle the harmful impact of the improper water quality in Sahel Akkar Region,North Lebanon Aims of the role: Regular field visits: Follow up on the implementation taking place, Explain the implementation process to municipalities, stakeholders, and potential and current beneficiaries, Develop regular status report updates and other documentation on component activities as needed, and work in parallel with the team to achieve project’s objectives.  Project implementation: Negotiate approval from stakeholders to conduct rehabilitation works and ensure agreement is drafted and signed before rehabilitation is done; Assist in record keeping and assembly of basic construction; Direct contact of beneficiaries through phone communication or household visits; Ensure all project documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner; Notifies Project Coordinator/engineer in case of any problem or obstacle in the field; Inform relevant focal points of any security threats or incidents in the field to the security officer. Make sure that projects deliverables are attained. Work with the field team to achieve the objectives of the project.   Related skills: Strong communication skills Experience in outreach or community work Experience in distribution or logistics is preferred Experience working with local authorities is an asset Experience in supervising construction works is an asset English language skills preferred
