Social Worker

Centre Nassim for the rehabilitation of victims of torture is recruiting a social worker. Tasks: Under the supervision of the centre coordinator and director the social worker: -          Welcomes the new beneficiaries and their families -          Provides social assessment of situations -          Provides direct social assistance to beneficiaries -          Follows related expenses -          Assist the beneficiaries in finding a job -          Coordinates treatment plans witht he multi disciplinary team  -          Ensures complete follow-up of each case -          Coordinates with other NGOs on social assistance -          Writes weekly reviews -          Takes active part in routine meetings -          Handles tasks upon the request of the director Expected abilities: -           Excellent organizational capacities -           Excellent social, interpersonal and problem solving skills -           Ability to work under pressure -           Reporting skills -           Initiative, involvement and commitment -           Acting in a diplomatic way, representing  non-religious, non-political and non-sectarian principles and respect for diversity and gender Experience: 3 to 5 years Languages: Arabic – English – French Salary: to be discussed
