Field Officer

Project background: LRC under the fund of UNICEF will implement urgent WASH activities revolving around water, sanitation and hygiene in Qobbe Tripoli, north Lebanon. Aims of the role: Regular field visits: Follow up on the implementation taking place, Explain the implementation process to potential and current beneficiaries, Develop regular status report updates and other documentation on component activities as needed, work with the engineer to achieve project’s objectives.  project implementation: Negotiate approval from stakeholders to conduct rehabilitation works and ensure agreement is drafted and signed before rehabilitation is done; Assist in record keeping Direct contact of beneficiaries through phone communication or household visits; Ensure all project documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner; Notifies Project Coordinator engineer in case of any problem or obstacle in the field; Inform relevant focal points of any security threats or incidents in the field goes to security officer; Make sure that projects deliverables are met; Work with the field team to achieve the objectives of the project.   Related skills: Strong communication skills Experience in outreach or community work Experience in distribution or logistics is preferred Experience working with local authorities an asset Experience in supervising construction works is an asset English or French language skills preferred
