Supply Supervisor - Tripoli

Scope of responsibility: Under the responsibility of the Logistic Manager:            Ensure international and national supply for the mission/project and the associated administrative procedures, and monitor the warehouse stock according to MSF protocols and procedures in order to contribute to the smooth functioning of the mission, ensuring efficiency, accountability and transparency.   Activities: Provide information to the Line Manager on timelines regarding administrative procedures concerning supply activities, giving advice on the most appropriate means of transport, delivery system and suggesting any measures necessary for improving the system according to the local particularities. Ensure receptions and deliveries are properly managed, documented and coordinated. Maintain regular contact with suppliers (local and regional) and service providers, transportation agencies, and other MSF sections, updating the list of existing ones and seeking new ones to supply the best product at the best price. Perform and coordinate administrative procedures related to purchases and purchase orders, verifying the compliance of MSF standards, tools and protocols. Determine the quantities of product to buy (volume), taking into account the demand and needs of the mission, availability forecasts, delivery timelines, budget and other relevant factors, in conjunction with the line manager. Supervise, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, evaluation, potential detection, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsib      ility in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required. Actively participate in the Medical Stock Integration of the project. Ensure the proper stock management follow-up according to MSF standards, procedures and tools: Ensure the alert on the expiring items are prepared by Storekeepers (medical & logistic). Perform the destruction of expired items in accordance with the national regulations, analyse the cost of destruction and prepare the destruction certificate accordingly. Ensure sufficient stock for the effective functioning of the mission activity: Periodically check stock levels (physical count), keep track of deliveries, movement of goods, keep informed on price fluctuations, shortages of certain goods.

Experience required:
• Essential technical diploma in supply chain.
• Previous experience in supply chain activities, in a related jobs.
• 1-2 years in MSF Logistics Department is a plus
