    HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL Humanitarian Mine Action Programme in Lebanon is now recruiting     Position                                 Logistic and procurement Assistant Working place                      Jbeil and Toula (Batroun) Working hours                     Monday - Thursday from 8:00 till 4:30 and Friday from 8:00 till 3:30 Starting date                        Immediatly Contract duration                9 months with possibility of extension upon financial availability   Handicap International is an independent and impartial international non-governmental aid organisation. Handicap International Lebanon program main objectives are to mitigate the threat of mines and un-exploded ordnance in high and medium impacted communities in North Lebanon Province according to the needs and priorities identified in the strategic planning of the Lebanon Mine Action Center.   Brief description about the position (responsibilities and activities) Ensure the local purchases under the supervision of the Logistics Officer Assist the Logistic officer with the fleet management of the programme Assist the Logistics Officer in the management of technical equipment Assist the logistic officer with the management of equipments and stocks monitoring   Expected profile University degree in logistic and procurement management or any related field Minimum 2 years of experience in the logistic or procurement field Very good organizational and planning skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Holding a driving licence and driving manual car with ability to travel from the region of affectation to Beirut, North Lebanon and South Lebanon for business objectives Very good IT skills Good negotiation skills Very good in English and Arabic (written and spoken), French would be an advantage Good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook         Handicap International is an equal opportunities employer and all applicants will be considered.
