Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Beirut, and directly reporting to the Regional Project Manager the National Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Regional Project Manager in the implementation of nationally-based activities within the EU funded ‘Project to Protect and Assist Vulnerable and Exploited Migrant Workers in the Middle East’ (‘PAVE’).
Assistance to the management and implementation of the nationally-based activities within the regional IOM project, PAVE.
Adherence to project established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work plans, data management tools (e.g. usage of MiMOSA), and other management tools.
Conduct individualized case management for victims identified in Lebanon and collaborate with multi-stakeholders in delivering assistance to victims. This may include data entry of relevant beneficiary data, in line with IOM’s Data Protection Principles. Screening of beneficiaries for direct assistance, where requested, and refer victims for assistance.
Assistance with project monitoring and evaluation support.
Assist in the provision of capacity building, training, and general support to project staff at the national level.
Assist in the organization of and delivery of thematic training to the project beneficiaries, including the development of new/tailored training materials. Assist also with the organization of any project conferences/ workshops.
Assist the Project Manager to establish partnerships and liaison with all the relevant national project partners.
Provide regular national project activity updates to project officer and the Regional Project Manager, COM, and RTS.
Undertake duty travels as required.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
