BACKGROUND The Lebanon Industry Value Chain Development (LIVCD) is a five year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI).  LIVCD Project aims to increase the competitiveness of selected value chains, expand the number of Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises that can compete in selected markets, improve linkages between those firms and other actors throughout the value chain, increase the gross value of products and services in local and export markets, and expand exports.   OBJECTIVES The Regional Office Logistics/Admin and Procurement Assistant will provide logistical, administrative, and procurement assistance for LIVCD main and field offices.  Specific Tasks Complete all required financial and procurement transactions and provide all reports, quotations, supporting documentation, and approvals to the Beirut Office Manager, Finance Manager, and Operations Manager. Support the Grants Manager in receiving all required documentation from beneficiaries and reviewing financial and administrative reports from grantees. Manage logistics support for all regional office employees as well as incoming visitors. Organize meetings, workshops, and events as necessary. Maintain an up-top-date inventory of all assets in the regional office. Ensure proper maintenance of the filing system and enter all relevant documents into TAMIS. Responsible for supervising vehicles, including all necessary repair and maintenance. Ensures that the regional drivers are accurately completing vehicle logs in accordance with the LIVCD Vehicle Policy Manual.
