Internship (Unpaid) – Programme Unit – Int016 - Mount Lebanon

The Programme Intern will assist the programme unit staff in the management of partner agreements and following up on the implementation of funded projects through ensuring that proper partner files are maintained, reports are received on time as indicated in the partner agreements, in reviewing reports ensuring that the information presented is complete and accurate as well as compiling information or drafting reports if required.   Accountability (key results that will be achieved)  - UNHCR Mount Lebanon programme unit  has sufficient administrative assistance and support in routine services and activities thus better able to meet the needs of persons of concern     Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results)       -   Collect, register and maintain information on project activities. -   Prepare status and progress reports, prepare tables and draft routine correspondence. -   Prepare background material for use in discussions and briefing sessions. -   Follow up with Partners to ensure timely submission of reports and requested documents -   Ensure that proper filing is in place -   Perform other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position.
- University certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Political Science or related field.
- Computer skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of English

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES. Describe any experience or knowledge that would be an asset, such as: UNHCR Learning Programmes, other training, additional languages, Field/HQs experience, etc.

- Good Communicator with strong interpersonal skills
