Terms of Reference PSS Specialist/CiE Specialist       THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY: World Vision Lebanon is looking for a Psychosocial Support Specialist with strong background and experience in this domain. The consultant’s main role is to review the current PSS programme in Lebanon and make recommendations for improvement of the programme, improve the PSS centers physically according to international standards, and provide support to new PSS programme located in the Bekaa, including several trainings. Similar support may be requested to be provided to a potentialproject in South.     The themes to be covered by the consultancy are requested as follows: Review the day-to-day programme activities per the established schedule and modules. Review the Structured Psychosocial Support Curriculum and strengthen to include basic literacy lessons, as well as life skills activities, per the guidance of the World Vision Protection Specialist and Education Specialist, and make recommendations for the use of appropriate modules and materials Evaluate the competencies and training needs of staff and community volunteers. Provide additional training for staff and volunteers, as necessary Contribute to quality improvement of the current PSS programme content, lessons and activities. Contribute to the design of a possibly revised M&E system by providing relevant content related input to responsible staff. Contribute to the revisions of CBCPC curriculum and implementation. Review and support existing staff and volunteers in exploring and implementing solutions to questions of suitability of facilities and community relations, including increasing involvement. Provide support to staff recruitment.     DELIVERABLES: Inception Report, including pre-assessment and training plan Final MHPSS CFS curriculum (including activities, lesson plans, materials needed, etc) Final CBCPC curriculum Final M&E system (including tools) attached to revised MHPSS CFS curriculum Final report regarding findings of consultation, including various trainings facilitated   CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Educational background in MHPSS Several years experience teaching/consulting in MHPSS Understanding of regional context Experience in facilitating trainings Great communication skills Good at time management Good computer skills Ability to act with appropriate respect towards audience   DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY:   The consultant will provide services for WVL from June 2015 through July 2015, as necessary, with possibility of extension (approximately 4-6 weeks)
