Registered Nurse

Scope of responsibility: Primary healthcare nursing care, Work collaboratively with the team according to Makhzoumi foundation policies and procedure, Respect of universal hygiene standards Clinical Activities:    Perform nursing care based on physical and psychosocial needs according to accreditation standards implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Accreditation Canada. Perform Nursing care in the preparation room as taking vital signs and Screening for Non-Communicable diseases. Perform Routine Vaccination according to the national calendar of immunization. Apply hygiene standards, infection control and occupational safety rules. Ensure that quality and continuity of care are respected. Identification of emergency situation and information of the doctor. Manage efficiently the medical equipment, follow-up of medical stock, storage conditions, and inventories, follow-up of expired items and medications. Carry out when necessary patient counseling. Administrative Activities: Participates in performance improvement activities as requested. Participates in continuous education and demonstrates desire to develop strategies for improved clinic operations and a high level of patient care.
