Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. About the jobUnder the overall supervision of the North Area Manager and the direct supervision of the North Area Programme Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of all DRC's operations in collective sites in Tripoli and T5.
Duties• Provide support, leadership and supervision to CSMC teams;• Ensure planning and organization of weekly tasks of team members;• Ensure activities are implemented in order to achieve to monthly targets;• Ensure fulfillment of relevant documents related to procurement, administration and HR;• Support with proposal drafting and identification of new opportunities consistent with the approved CSMC strategy;• Ensure timely compilation and submission of CSMC weekly reports according to provided template and instructions;• Support DRC with submission of donors’ reports when required;• Ensure timely update of Collective Site profiles according to given templates;• Guarantee timely update of all databases and matrixes related to collective sites activities;• Supervise the capacity building of Committees trough trainings, awareness raising sessions as well as coaching activites according to the needs identified;• Guarantee the planning and implementation of activities promoting host community acceptance.• Represent DRC with all relevant actors and stakeholders at relevant sector meetings;
About youTo be successful in this role you must have Master degree preferably in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law; 2 years of experience in the field of humanitarian interventions in emergency and post-crisis environments, humanitarian assistance, human rights; demonstrated expertise in community mobilization and/or development projects; demonstrated experience in external coordination; d) demonstrated experience in information management. Working proficiency in English.Ideally you will also have Camp Management Training and ToT, experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/international institutions; e) demonstrates good knowledge of UN and NGO mandates and programmes in the humanitarian responses, refugees, post conflict construction and development; f) Previous experience in CCCM/CSMC is an asset; g) experience in delivering training/capacity building.
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from mid of June and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. During the probation period, this position will be placed at level D1, equivalent to 2,015$ per month. The level will be upgraded afterwards.
