Three Mhpss Specialists - Part Time

The employer will be recruited for working in mental, health & psychosocial support project funded by UNCEF in partnership & co -funding of MAP UK (Medical Aid for Palestinians ) Applicants for the following job should have the following specifications & qualifications: Holds a graduate university degree (Masters or equivalent) in the field of psychology Has experience in the field of psychosocial support not less than two years under the supervision of an experienced specialist in psychology Has taken relevant training courses Has knowledge and experience in the field of child rights, child protection and social support mechanisms for children The Employee has to be available for working in one of the following Palestinian Refugees camps: Nehr Al Bared in the North of Lebanon, or Ein Al Helwi Camp in Saida city or Shatella Camp in Beirut. Responsibilities Monitoring, follow-up and guidance of field social workers and providing them with necessary assistance on appropriate methods of dealing with the problems of beneficiaries. Providing individual psychological counseling for children in need for this intervention and their caregivers in a specific intervention plan Identifying  the cases that require specialized psychological treatment to be referred to specialized centers (Psychiatric Care Centers) Managing group sessions for children and their parents to raise awareness on psychological and social topics to be chosen based on the need and in agreement with field social workers (PSS staff) Managing debriefing sessions for staff and beneficiaries as needed Auditing forms for cases and providing necessary monthly reports on the progress of difficult psycho-social cases Follow up on individual cases that are referred to specialized treatment centers (Psychiatric Care Centers)
