We are looking for a highly qualified candidate ready to cooperate with community development team. Who are we?The Danish Refugee Council has worked in Lebanon since September 2004, and the programs have followed the country’s needs and progress. The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobProviding case management and psychosocial support to women and girls and particularly gender-based violence survivors Duties In compliance with best-practice and international standards in GBV response, provide direct psychosocial support for vulnerable women and girls and particularly GBV survivors. Case management services will include assessment of needs, development of an action plan for recovery, implementing the action plan and ensuring appropriate follow up and close the case when appropriate. The case management process should be implemented through a survivor-centered approach; Provide age-appropriate counseling for vulnerable adolescent girls and children through the implementation of tools developed for Provide age-appropriate quality psychosocial support in safe spaces (community centers and women resource centers) including emotional support group sessions and awareness sessions; Support the development of age-appropriate and needs-driven recreational, educational and skills-building activities for women and girls in safe spaces through coordination with relevant actors (DRC community development section and implementing partners).   About youTo be successful in this role you must have a university degree in social work , with a minimum 1 year of relevant work experience , experience in community mobilization, experience with local NGOs(partnering ) , Ideally you will also have a university degree in social work, with a minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, experience in community mobilization, experience with local NGOs (partnering),Experience in emergency work, experience with INGO.
