Driver - Daily Worker - Temporary Replacements

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Transport ACF-Liban employees  and equipment and materials in the course of their work connected with ACF-Liban projects DETAILED OBJECTIVES AND TASKS Objective 1: Abiding by ACF-Liban rules in driving Transport both people and goods in a safe and secure manner at all times. The speed limitations are as follows: 30 km/hr in villages, 50 in cities, 80 on main roads and 100 on highways. Objective 2: Support Tasks Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles Responsible for weekly fuelling and routine daily maintenance of the vehicles (battery, radiator, tyres ….) Responsible for regular routine checking of vehicle (daily / weekly) and reporting to the base logistician Completing vehicle log book (fuel / spare parts / maintenance) and summarizing monthly totals in vehicle log book Keep ACF-L vehicles clean Report accidents or damage to vehicles to the Logistician Report incident related to the security situation and / or involving local military, security, or other Logistician To be available if necessary to work at weekends (with appropriate compensation of days off) Any other work duties assigned by the Logistician Objective 3: Other Issues Respect of ACF Charter and internal rule Be committed to participate to any other work in order to achieve the project goal This job description is not exhaustive and may be changed or amended by the Head Of Mission when necessary, according to the base needs. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES Lebanese Driving Licence valid since more than 1 year Several years professional driving experience Experience of minimum one year in the field of  Logistic, a plus Work experience of minimum 1 year in a similar position with NGO, a plus Experience / instinct for reacting in emergency and security situations Methodical and organised (in vehicle maintenance) Basic car maintenance knowledge  Good organizational capacity Knowledge of local area Autonomy and Flexibility Good knowledge of the local languages and culture.
