Social Worker

To analyze and asses the needs of the child in his\her context according to SAD procedure (forms and related tools) Become familiar with children enrolled in the Distance Support Program (SAD) and suggest/develop interventions to address their needs To liaise with schools, parishes, educational centres, health centres to respond in an integrated way to the children’s needs To visit each child at least twice per year, in his/her home and at school To adhere to the project requirements in organizing activities related to the children and his\her family and community Where existing, to follow up the parents’ groups established to enhance economic empowerment of the families of supported children. Handling of cash and making payments to the beneficiaries To organize and carry out distributions of items for selected children where provided by the project To liaise with SAD Project Manager to follow-up individual cases referred for assistance. To act as liaison between the sponsor and the child through SAD local office. To keep an updated dossier for each child in hard and where possible in soft copy. To submit regular reports (written and verbal) concerning  ongoing activities to the SAD Project Manager To compile forms and reports about the children for both internal use and external use To participate in all training programs indicated by SAD Project Manager To undertake any other duties assigned by the SAD Project Manager in relation to the Project objectives and
