    HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL Humanitarian Mine Action Programme in Lebanon is now recruiting     Position                                 Logistic Assistant Working place                     Jbeil with frequent travels to Toula (Batroun) Working hours                    Monday - Thursday from 8:00 till 16:30 and Friday from 8:00 till 15:30 Starting date                       April 27th, 2015 Contract duration               1 year with possibility of extension upon financial availability   Handicap International is an independent and impartial international non-governmental aid organisation. Handicap International Mine Action Lebanon program main objectives are to mitigate the threat of mines and un-exploded ordnance in medium impacted communities in North Lebanon Province according to the needs and priorities identified in the strategic planning of the Lebanon Mine Action Center.   Responsibilities Ensure the national purchases under the supervision of the Logistics officer; Assist the Logistics officer with the vehicle fleet management; Assist the Logistics officer in the IT fleet management; Assist the Logistics officer with the equipment and stock management;   Expected profile ·         University or technical degree in logistic and procurement management or any related field; ·         Minimum 1 year of post-qualification professional experience preferably with an NGO; ·         Very good organizational and planning skills; ·         Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; ·         Enjoys a challenge and works hard to achieve objectives; ·         Can prioritise work to meet deadlines; ·         Holding a driving licence with ability to drive manual 4x4 vehicles all over Lebanon areas; ·         Very good in English and Arabic (written and spoken), French would be a plus; ·         Good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook.   Submission guidelines Interested candidates should send a CV, a motivation letter, a color copy of ID, 1 photo, a color copy of driving license, and a copy of diplomas / certificates of experience by: E-mail to recruitment.dam@handicap-international-lb.org stating the job title and your name in the e-mail subject.   Hand in a sealed envelope to one of Handicap International addresses (Official school of Toula-Batroun or Byblos, Mrabaa street behind Byblos municipality, Bassil bldg 3rd floor) stating the job title and your name on it.   Deadline on April 13th 2015 Handicap International is an equal opportunities employer and all applicants will be considered.
