Communication And Video Editing Intern

Summary of Position   SFCG is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern for a period of minimum 3 months to 6 months. The intern will be supporting the team in the implementation of the communication strategy for SFCG Lebanon in order to showcase the projects and activities carried out and their impact on the ground.     Responsibilities   Help in develop the communication strategy for SFCG Lebanon office.   Accompany the staff to the field to take pictures and snapshots of the activities conducted by SFCG coordinators (consent of participants is mandatory).   Accompany the staff to the field to shoot snapshots and compiling them in short videos with subtitles that showcase the work of SFCG.   Assist in drafting messages to accompany photos and videos for SFCG website and FB page.   Produce short videos that capture SFCG Lebanon mission and vision explaining who we are and what we do.   Assist in updating social media platforms of SFCG Lebanon including FB, Twitter and website.   As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the position holder may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties.   Requirements and Qualifications   Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Photography and Video or a related field. Previous experience highly preferred.   Skills   • Proficiency in producing short professional videos with subtitles and the possibility of adding music upon request. • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. • Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. • Strong oral and written communications skills. • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail. • Excellent skills in editing and all related softwares. • Proficiency in shooting professional pictures in the field and in the office.
