Who we are: Solidarites International is an international humanitarian organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For over 30 years the association has focused on meeting three vital needs - water, food and shelter - by carrying out emergency programmes followed by longer-term reconstruction projects. Whilst fully respecting the assisted populations’ customs and culture, SolidaritesInternational’s programmes are implemented through the joint expertise of around 180 expatriates and 1500 local managerial staff and employees. Solidarites International is currently present in Africa (Central African Republic, South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Mali, Niger, Mauritania, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast), in Asia (Afghanistan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan), in the Middle East (Syria and Lebanon) and in Haiti. Goal / Purpose:   Under the supervision of the Site Mapping Team Leader, the Mapping Officer will carry out the identification and mapping of informal settlements in Tripoli, Minieh-Denniyeh, Zgharta, Batroun, and Bcharre.   Responsibilities: General responsibilities Regular mapping of ISes in T+5 (Tripoli, Minieh-Denniyeh, Zgharta, Batroun, Koura, Bcharre).   Action-related Responsibilities Conduct assessments and surveys in the field on newly identified ISes on a daily basis Conduct reassessments and updated surveys of previously identified ISes on a bi-monthly basis Reporting of activities to the IS mapping team leader on a daily basis Represent SOL when necessary (on field, during meetings, or in other SOL programs) Maintain an accurate reporting and data management of your activities   Task Description:   Regular identification and Mapping of ISes Mapping of ISes in T+5 along with updating HH (household) composition for each IS on a bi-monthly basis Establish and maintain      good working relationships with local communities (both host and      beneficiary) in the field Inform the community      about SOL activities and answer any question related to the organization      and the program,  directing those      concerned to appropriate agencies or the Hotline as appropriate The above list is non-exhaustive and may be extended to include reasonable tasks and responsibilities within the framework of the project at the request of the Outreach Program Manager, Outreach Team Leader or Outreach Activity Manager The ability to drive would be a strong asset   ORG CHART POSITION (reporting and functional relationships) Line manager: Program Manager / Activity Manager /Team Leader Line report(s) on base: - Functional manager: - Functional report(s):  -
