About Us: Solidarites International is an international humanitarian organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For over 30 years the association has focused on meeting three vital needs - water, food and shelter - by carrying out emergency programmes followed by longer-term reconstruction projects. Whilst fully respecting the assisted populations’ customs and culture, SolidaritesInternational’s programmes are implemented through the joint expertise of around 180 expatriates and 1500 local managerial staff and employees. Solidarites International is currently present in Africa (Central African Republic, South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Mali, Niger, Mauritania, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast), in Asia (Afghanistan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan), in the Middle East (Syria and Lebanon) and in Haiti. MISSION Goal / Purpose: Under the supervision of the Activity   Manager-CSMC and the Community Mobilization Program Manager, the community   mobilizer CSMC is in charge of the creation, the training, the support and   the follow-up of general Committees in Informal settlements and Collective   Shelters hosting vulnerable families amongst Syrian refugees in the   intervention area.    Responsibilities: General responsibilities To work on the creation of  the committees with the implementation of a comprehensive/ participatory   approach with the communities targeted. To ensure that committees  are provided with adequate training and to follow-up on their work and   impact. To maximized site residents understanding  of committee mandate and scope. Also to encourage residents involvement in   committee project and activities. Action-related Responsibilities Ensure the good process of all the stages of committee creation and provide them with the adequate support. Conduct monitoring of the activities, analysis the data collection and plan activities accordingly. Report daily activities, incidents, achievements and adaptations made to the management. Represent SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL when necessary (during meetings and trainings, or in other SOL programs) Maintain an accurate reporting and data management of the activities.   Task Description:   Committees Identification and Creation Inform the community   about SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL’s activities and answer any question related   to the organization and the program. Conduct assessments and surveys in the field to identify sites to implement CSMC activities and to report and  constraints. Conduct information campaigns and community assemblies in the field to ensure and facilitate the   creation of the committees. Organize and implement  trainings in collaboration with other internal/external agencies and (or) private trainers.   Follow-up and support Support the committees in   their daily activities Follow-up on additional training or logistics needs they could have and share these information to the managers Implement additional trainings or activities in order to increase the efficiency of the committees   Monitoring of activities   and Reporting    Conduct regular monitoring of the process and impact of the committees, adapt implementation and plan        activities accordingly as well as ensuring that the results are matching with the indicators of the program.    Share formalized information and progress with the Community Mobilization CWC, Basic Assistance and WASH/Shelter teams on a regular basis.   The above list is a non-exhaustive   one, nor limitative. The Activity manager may be asked to drive SOL cars and respecting the driving policies set by the logistic department and attached to this document.
