General Coordinator

Responsabilities: Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support including managing the schedule/calendar, operating office equipments and technologies, organising and providing all office needs and logistical support to meetings/conferences/workshops/events, making travel arrangements, screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries as appropriate. Act as a link between the Board and the rest of the organization (Staff, Members,…); serve as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, committees, individuals, and external institutions as directed. Gather, enter, and/or update data to maintain all records and databases, as appropriate; establish and maintain files and records for the office. Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization. Supervise all personnel and participate in events (regular meetings, trainings…) which may include recommendations, performance evaluation and problem resolution. Identify, assess, and inform the Board of internal and external issues that affect the organization. Ensure that personnel, member, volunteer, client and donor files are securely stored and privacy/confidentiality is maintained. Oversee the planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of the organization's programs, services and projects. And Monitor the day-to-day delivery of each. Jointly with the designated officer and the Board, prepare and monitor the annual budget. Ensure that accounting procedures are followed. Jointly with the President conduct official correspondence of the organization, and jointly with the designated officer execute legal documents. Ensure that the organization complies with all legislation covering taxation and withholding payments. Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, funders, politicians, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization. Complete other assignments as directed by the Board/President.   Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field (Management +++). Knowledge of leadership and management principles. Knowledge of financial management. Excellent Communication skills. Excellent Computer skills. Work under pressure - Patient - Team worker spirit
