Finance & Admin Assistant

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer. The incumbent will perform the following duties:   •Keep administrative record •Keep minutes from all RET Liban meetings in Beirut. •Organize, file and secure financial information and sensitive documents. •Assist with monthly payments to suppliers •Maintain personnel files •Prepare staff and consultant contracts and all related documents. •Assist in managing staff leave. •Assist in managing the petty cash and follow petty cash expenditures •Receive and pay bills as per RET procedures. •Establish at the end of each month the cash count sheet. •Assist in organizing international travel (purchase of air tickets, booking of hotels) •Perform all other duties at the request of the Finance and Admin Officer and Programme Manager Qualifications  Minimum 3 years of related experience Previous experience in an NGO/International organisation is a major asset Sound knowledge of basic book-keeping Excellent communication and diplomacy skills Excellent organisational skills including the ability to strategically prioritise and meet deadlines Ability to work flexibly and under difficult circumstances Proven integrity (references required) To be familiar with and abide by the “Principles of Conduct for The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement” Language Arabic: Fluent English: Good command of language (written and spoken)
