The Arabic and music teacher will work on building a firm foundation for refugee students to help them get integrated into Lebanese schools through an Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) that focuses on the students learning fundamentals in Arabic and to help them learn the basics of music.
Key Responsibilities
Teach basic academic skills, including alphabet, letter recognition, numbers, and other Arabic lessons.
Teach children and adolescents the fundamental principles of music and musicianship skills, such as music theory and basic notation.
Lead students through creative play and hands-on activities.
Plan lessons according to ALP curriculum and assess students, tailoring their lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom.
Coordinate with other teachers and school principal.
Conduct regular teachers’ and parents’ meetings.
Applying JRS policies during class time.

Work Schedule
Instructing 15 hours of Arabic and 3 hours of Music / week.
Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM till 6:30 PM
